Athletics Carnival Fun!
Our School Athletics Carnival was a huge success last Thursday. The sun was out for a fantastic day of running, jumping, throwing and games. Congratulations to all of the students that participated on the day and thank you to all of the parents that came along to support or assist. A special thank you to Mrs Upeski for all of the organisation that went into making the day run so smoothly. Photos of the day have been uploaded to our school facebook page and a full list of places and ribbon winners can be found here on our school website.

Pie Drive

Thank you to everyone who supported our pie drive. Orders will be delivered this Thursday (22 June) and available for 2:30 pick up from The Learning Hub.

Merit Awards will be held over until next week due to the Athletics Carnival and other events.

Kindergarten enrolments are open for 2018. If you have a child that you would like to enrol for 2018, please pop in to our school office to fill out an enrolment form.

A taste of High School
Our Year 5's had an excellent time at Warrawong High School last Wednesday, experiencing some of the different subjects they'll be doing once they get to high school. Thanks to WHS for an excellent day!
Kindergarten have been learning how to count on when adding two groups.
K/1 have been learning about 3D shapes. They loved using play dough to model some of their favourite shapes.
1/2 have been learning how to use the 'split strategy' to add two numbers together.
2/3 have been making multiplication arrays in class.

4/5 have been learning about equivalent fractions.

We have been using Maths n' Movement to learn about tally marks and graphs. We hope you enjoy our short video.

PSSA Sport
Thanks to all of the students who participated in PSSA sport this term. Every one of the students should be very proud of their behavior, teamwork and athleticism. Thank you to the parents that helped with transport. It was much appreciated.
School Reports are on their way
Students will bring home their mid-year report next Monday. Be sure to check your child's bag or ask for the big envelope that students will receive at the end of the day. There is lots of information in the reports and if parents are left with any questions, please telephone 4274 1740 to arrange a time to speak with the class teacher.
Lunch order prices from Term 3
School lunches have been provided by our friendly neighbouring shop for a number of years now. Prices have never risen, but from the start of Term 3, an across the board price increase of 20c will take effect. New order forms will be available from classes and the Hub or simply add 20c per line item using an old order form.
Celebrating NAIDOC week
Next Friday our school will be celebrating NAIDOC week. Students will participate in physical activity by taking part in traditional games.
