Our first PSSA Gala Day will take place this Friday with boys soccer and girls dragon tag.

Good luck to all of our competitors who have been training hard during Wednesday groups. A reminder to all parent transport helpers, the team will leave immediately after roll call. All helpers are asked to be at the school by 9am. There will be a canteen running on the day and a BBQ. Fingers crossed we see some more beautiful weather come Friday.

Book Fair and Sausage Sizzle

As part of this year's Book Week celebrations, Lake Heights is holding a Book Fair. Drop in to the Learning Hub on Tuesday 29 August before or after school to browse and perhaps make a purchase.

Students will have opportunities to browse and buy during the day in class groups.

Pre-order forms available soon at the Hub can be used to order many of the titles available.

Plus: A PARADE!

Students are encouraged to come dressed as a book character for the day. There will be a short parade on the school stage as soon as the school day gets under way at 8:55am.

And: A SAUSAGE SIZZLE

There is also a sausage sizzle lunch for the students. Order forms available at the Hub or download and print one here.

Rides and Fun Day: 20 September

Plans are well underway for our Rides and Fun Day on Wednesday 20 September this term.

The Zoomer, Jurassic Park Castle, a large inflatable slide, The Tea Cups and Mini Golf are all booked for the afternoon which starts at 12PM and finishes at 4:00.

$25 pre-ordered wristbands give 4 hours of unlimited rides ($30 on the day). Pre-orders are available using the order forms sent home with students. Forms are also available at the Hub or download and print one here.

Showbags at various prices can also be ordered using this form.

Can you spare an hour to help? We’re looking for volunteers to join the team and share the load so that organisers can spend some time with their children as well. Can you lend a hand on the BBQ, cake stall or games stalls? Just an hour.

Please reply to our Facebook post or leave your name at the office. Your help will be much appreciated.

Thank you to all of those who have already offered their assistance.
Groups take place on Wednesday afternoons and give students the opportunity to take part in an activity of their choosing. Group time is an exciting way for students to get to know other students and teachers in the school. This term we have some exciting group options.
