Big changes at Warrawong High School
There are some big changes taking place out our local high school. Mr Brad Hughes who was formerly the Deputy Principal at WHS, has been appointed Principal and with the new leadership comes some changes.
The executive team at WHS have been working with the community to develop a new uniform. This uniform change is likely to occur prior to the commencement of the 2019 school year, so will effect students transitioning to high school next year.
Changes will also be made to the application and selection process for students hoping to gain placement in the 7S selective class.
For more information, see Mr Hughes' personal address here.
Join us for coffee, cake and good conversation!
School uniform will be the hot topic at tomorrow's P&C meeting. Join us on Tuesday 14 August at 9:30am, where our agenda will focus on the results of the recent survey on hats and shoes and determine further action for the school.
We hope you can join us in the kitchen. Mr Heddles is baking a cake!!
