New sports shed

Our new sports shed arrived Tuesday afternoon with the school watching excitedly as it was delivered at the western end of the basketball court. A little more work is required before it is fully functional. Our old shed will become the gardening shed. So many new and exciting changes in our school. With more to come including changes to the senior undercover area.

School photos

School photos are on Thursday 28 March. Envelopes have been sent home and need to be returned to the class teacher. There are no spare envelopes available. We will be starting class and whole school photos promptly, so don't be late. For sibling photos, envelopes are available at the front office.

Harmony Day

This year we are celebrating Harmony Day on Thursday 21 March. Students are invited to wear orange or bright clothing to school and make a gold coin donation. As we are celebrating cultural diversity in our community, it would be wonderful to see children dressed in their national colours or traditional costumes and celebrating their cultural heritage. Cakes and cupcakes will be available for sale for $1. Donations of cupcakes or cakes to the P & C is greatly appreciated. Just drop them off in to the kitchen. Students will be completing activities with their buddy classes during the day.

Sports trials

On Tuesday 26 March and Wednesday 27 March, Illawarra Sports High School will be holding the Year 6 Trials for 2020 Year 7 enrolment in the Talented Sports and Development Program. The trials are open to current Year 6 students looking to trial for entry into the Talented Sports and Development Program, year 7 2020. Students must be registered in a community club or representative team in the sport they are trialing for. Students need to register their attendance at the trials online through the Illawarra Sports High School website. No registration = no trial. Click the picture above for the link.
