School athletics carnival

This year's School Athletics Carnival will take place at John O’Dwyer Oval, Croome Road Sporting Complex, Albion Park from 9:45 – 2:00 on Monday 17 June. Students have already started practising high jump, races, shot-put and relays at school. Come along and join us on the day.

Makerspace success

On Sunday, over fifty people came to our Makerspace afternoon. Families had the opportunity to make, build and create anything they wanted. It was a fun and busy session. Destin said "I raced my Dash robot against other people, made a paper plane out of paper, straws and cardboard. My dad and brother helped me." Aleigha said "I built a cardboard house, built a LEGO glowing snail, and raced people with the Dash robots. My nan, brother and sister came along to help me. It was a fun afternoon."

More thanks

A big thank you to all the families who donated cakes, slices and various baked goodies to help raise money for the costs of Southern Stars. Thanks also for the amazing help from all the families that came to assist with the cake stall on Saturday. We sold so many yummy cakes.

Pie drive

Don't forget that the Pie Drive fundraiser orders close Monday 3 June and delivery is on Wednesday 19 June. Our order form is for up to three orders. Please use multiple forms if you are collecting orders for family and friends. A huge variety of pies are available, both sweet and savoury. There are even quiches. Pies are provided by Queen Street Bakery.

Kindergarten 2020

If your child is turning 5 this year (or very early next year), now is a good time to enrol them in kindergarten ready for a 2020 start. Enrolment forms are available at our office. Keep an eye on our calendar for all the Kindergarten orientation days in term four.
