Free books

Let's get reading! We are giving away old stock of home readers. Come along to the hub after Year 1/2's assembly this Wednesday 05 June. Books range in levels, so come help yourself to a wide variety of texts.

Athletics carnival

Get your running shoes on! We've been getting ready, at school, for this year's Athletics Carnival. The 2019 School Athletics Carnival will take place at John O’Dwyer Oval, Croome Road Sporting Complex, Albion Park from 9:45 am – 2:00 pm on Monday 17 June. The whole school will travel on two buses, departing school immediately after our 8:55 am class roll call. Parents and friends are welcome to join us at Croome Road. A canteen will be available and students are able to bring some money. We still encourage them to bring lunch and recess though, as there is no guarantee of what will be available by lunchtime.

Crazy hair day

Year 5 will be holding a crazy hair day on Friday 21 June to raise money for the Year Six farewell. Students can come to school with colourful hair and give a gold coin donation. Hair can also be coloured at school with students paying $1 for a single colour and $2 for multiple colours.

Southern Stars tickets

Tickets for Southern Stars will be available from Wednesday 19 June 2019 through Ticketmaster. Get your tickets for what is going to be an amazing show with over 3000 students performing, all from over 100 schools. Three performances are at Wollongong Entertainment Centre on Friday Evening 23 August & Saturday Matinee and Evening 24 August.

New roster

The Community Garden Group has had a very successful roster system with a huge commitment from so many families who have given their time to our garden. The new rosters for both July and August are available at the Hub to sign up for continued garden maintenance. With the new water restrictions, we can still water lawns and gardens by hand-held hose before 10 am or after 4 pm, as long as the hose is fitted with a trigger nozzle.
