Last day as Principal

Last Friday was Mr Heddles' last day as Principal of Lake Heights Public School. At the farewell assembly, students performed their Southern Stars dance and personally thanked Mr Heddles for his support of the school's participation in this event over the years. The whole school sang a song called "You Have Made a Difference", a song that deeply moved Mr Heddles. The P&C and the captains both presented Mr Heddles with some gifts, perhaps the most notable, being the new school bomber jacket with his name on the back which he proudly wore all day. After planting a commemorative Christmas bush and a few games of handball with him, the whole school formed a Guard of Honour and cheered as he left the school grounds for the final time as their Principal. We wish him all the best in his retirement and thank him for all that he has done for our school over the last sixteen years.
