Share our space

Our amazing school grounds will be open again during the school holidays at 9am - 5pm from Monday 30 September until Friday 11 October. This allows our local communities and neighbours a great opportunity to safely and securely enjoy the outdoor school play spaces during the holidays. Similar to visiting a local park or playground, we encourage everyone to enjoy our school facilities with a responsible adult. Please note that toilet facilities are not available. The onsite security personnel are briefed with emergency protocols to follow should they become aware of an accident or incident at the school, but are not responsible for ensuring visitor safety. Term 4 starts for teachers and students on Monday 14 October. Enjoy the holidays and stay safe.

Holiday working bee

Help! We need your assistance with our working bee which is to be held on Wednesday 02 October at 11am - 2pm. There are two main focus areas for the working bee. One is moving the mulch from the front of the school grounds to a new area and the other is revamping the driveway garden at the top car park. If you are able to help, please bring wheelbarrows, tools, hats, drinks and sunscreen. Sandwiches will be provided for a light lunch. Hope to see you there.

NAPLAN coming home

All students who participated in the NAPLAN tests receive an individual report of their results this week. These reports provide information about what students know and have achieved in the areas of reading, writing, language conventions and numeracy. Should you wish to discuss these results with your child's teacher, please contact the office to make an appointment.

Grandparent's Day

Grandparents are invited to join us on Tuesday 29 October from 10:00am to experience a classroom with their grandchild. At 10:40am there will be a delicious morning tea provided. You might even like to stay on for a BYO picnic lunch with the children at 11:00am. Join in some of the fun and learning that children experience at LHPS. Hope you can join us.

Under the sea

What an absolutely amazing day we had yesterday. We all had a lovely time at the aquarium and especially enjoyed having our special guest, Mr Heddles, joining us for our adventure. We saw so many animals and creatures. The penguin boat trip was the best. It was so cold and the penguins were so cute. Everyone was well behaved and showed all our school values of care, respect and safety. Thank you to all the staff who helped plan this experience.
