Enviro Day excursion for 4/5 and 5/6
Classes 4/5 and 5/6 have been invited to participate in this year’s Enviro Day, which will be held as part of the Rise and Shine Sustainable Wollongong Campaign. Wollongong City Council will be hosting a series of Environmental workshops such as ‘No Dig Gardens’, ‘Looking after Lake Illawarra’, and ‘Fish for the Future’, at the Wollongong Botanic Gardens on Monday 2 September 2019.
The day will commence at 10.00am and conclude at approximately 2.00pm. There will be 5 half hour sessions with a morning tea and lunch break. Students will need to bring a packed lunch and recess snack including drink.
The event is free of charge, however, we are requesting private transport.
Students will be in the community, representing the school and will need to ensure they display excellent behaviour and wear their correct school uniform. Students who are unable to attend will be provided with work and supervised in another classroom for the day.
