WACKI Film Festival at the Gala Cinema

Wednesday 15 November 2017
6.00pm - 8.00pm

WACKI – Warrawong and Community Kids Images is a local schools film festival that Lake Heights has been a part of since its inception in 2002. Each year, the senior class has developed a screenplay for a short film that the students write, act in, film and edit into a 5 minute production.

Schools taking part, make their film as part of their term 3-4 program which integrates learning in creative arts and English. The movies are screened at the Gala Cinema during a 2 hour evening that includes feedback from judges in the film industry and award presentations.

Tickets for this very entertaining evening are just $1, available from the 5/6 class teachers and the office from early November, sold on a first-in basis.
