We had about 80 responses to our two questions regarding changes to our school hat as well as our policy on acceptable footwear. 65.8% of parents were in favour of the introduction of a school hat, with a wide brimmed hat worn by K-2 students and cap worn by students in 3-6.

Lake Heights Public School has an excellent track record at the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition and has been represented particularly strongly over the past few years.
